In everyday business, montavent sustainability and environmental consciousness are a first priority.  We promote this aim in a consequent and active way and encourage our customers, suppliers and our staff to act in an ecologically environment.  Here are some examples on how montavent lives as a team the everyday business principles of sustainable energy management: we do not only discourse, but act.

 

montavent - A Business Located Centrally and Close to Public Transport

The montavent business location was deliberately chosen close to the main railway station in Zurich to allow easy accessibility by local and national public transport.  Important infrastructure, such as shops, restaurants, copy shops etc. are within walking distance.  For slightly longer distance travel, we have company bicycles at disposal, which reduces CO2 emission and takes advantage of the healthy aspect of this mode of transport.

 

montavent - Support of Public Transport and Combined Traffic

Whenever possible montavent staff travel by train to external meetings, if necessary they chose from the wide range of offer on vehicles from Mobility, Car Sharing or rent a car.  This allows us to prepare our business during the train ride and we arrive in time, relaxed and well-informed.  It goes without saying that engine-driven company cars are only used, where there is no other choice.  At our main premises bicycles are at the disposal of everybody and our staff may subscribe to the “1/2-Tax-Abo” of the Swiss Railway (SBB).

 

montavent - Voluntary CO2 Compensation

Whenever the use of fossil engine-driven transportation means is inevitable, we contribute to CO2 compensation voluntarily.  Aircraft are only used, if no other valuable alternative means is available, which for us goes without saying.

 

montavent - Everyday Office Business with Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency

montavent is supplied with 100% green electricity by the local energy supply company (EVU) and economic resource during everyday office business where ever possible.  In order to use daylight at a maximum extent, all posts are optimally arranged to the windows.  We use energy saving lamps throughout and after work we shut down all devices to avoid energy loss in Standby mode.  We exclusively use recycled paper.  Litter where possible, is avoided.  Waste is of course separated and recycled.

 

montavent - Social Committment

Sticking to their principles is of particular importance to the montavent employees and carry out their tasks as they are meant to be done: in a clear, straight-line, cardiac manner.  We treat all our suppliers, customers and partners respectfully independent of their race, their gender and their religion..  Whenever possible montavent collaborates with the "Züriwerk", a trademarked shop for handicaped people.

Instead of generous customer incentives montavent donates to diverse organisations each year for Christmas.

montavent staff, including cadre, are given the possibility to work part time to meet their familiar and charitable obligations.
